I will do a little private investigation here....
I want to know a simple thing of all of you:

Does this link work for you? (I know the tour page is working, it's on an other server)
Yes or No? I need to know your country too please.
Markknopfler.com support team are investigating the problem, but i'm not sure if they take it very serious... My conclusion for now is that the site isnt reachable from Netherlands and France.
Please help me gathering more information.
Results:
Norway: ok
Spain: ok
Finland: ok
UK: ok
Switzerland: ok
Belgium: ok
Greece: ok
Canada: ok
Bulgaria: ok
Italy: ok
Germany: ok
France: not working
Netherlands: not working Working now! (22.14 CEST)
Russia: not working
Romania: not working (Facebook input)

Hi Stefan,
We've been in near constant contact with our hosts since we became aware of this issue, but I'm afraid it has not yet been resolved. It appears that the servers were on are currently suffering from a denial of service attack (DDOS) which is intended to prevent sites on those servers from working properly or, as in this case, at all.
We are presently investigating the possibility of moving the site to another location, but it's not an easy or fast process. All I can do is ask for your patience while our team works on a solution. In the meantime, our tour page is unaffected by this problem, so you may wish bookmark this for now: https://tour.markknopfler.com/. Similarly, our newsletters announcing new dates should arrive safely in your inbox.

After that, i've send him the list above of our results and this was his answer:
Thanks Stefan. I actually just spotted that you'd posted my reply on AMIT (I lurk there from time to time!) and I thank you for that.
Thanks as well for passing along the list, it lines up with our own findings, though I can add parts of the US to the list as well.
What a headache! Mark is quiet for more than a year and all is well. Announces a tour and all hell breaks lose!

I was just about to write back to you - ultimately we weren't satisfied with our hosts response to this issue, so we've moved the site to a new location. A drastic response, but a necessary one!
Please let us know if you spot any further instability or issues, but I do believe we're out of the woods now!

From Germany I never had any problems with reachability of mk.com.

In France it doesn't work since the beginning of the week.

A few days down in Maastricht, another part of the Netherlands. Can reach the Tour page directly. No home page available, even when clicking "Home" using the Tour page as starting point.

Was down in France between Tuesday -Thursday (I didn't try today) although ok from time to time.
