So I saw this picture on Instagram and it said that Mark was giving a masterclass at the royal college of music with his band including Nigel.
Does someone have more information on this?

If only Royal College would be generous enough to share it like Berklee College of Music do, but it's highly unlikely.
By the way, I recommend a Berklee masterclass from John Mayer on YouTube. So funny and useful... find it :clap

According to some posts in Instagram, MK and his band playes yesterday at the Royal Collegue of Music in London, apparently a MAsterclass but the stage was full of instruments and musicians...
The pictures are not very good but it looks like it was MK, Robbie McIntosh on guitar, Ewan Vernel on bass, Guy Fletcher on keyboards, Ian Thomas on drums, John McCusker on fiddle, Mike McGoldrick on pipes and whistles and Nigel Hitchcock on sax.
I tried to post the pictures here but I failed so if someone can... be our guest.
No idea on what they played.

Just in front of the well known (by us, the fans) RAH stairs, where the parking entry is located, the one used by MK to come in and out by car avoiding the fans waiting at the stage door.

OMG I wish I was there. This is the second masterclass from Mark and both wasn't shared.
It's not like I love free goodies, but you know, I wasn't born in UK to go and see MK in RCM!

Kind of amazing in this day and age that none of the students filmed it and put it on YouTube. I thought everybody filmed everything these days.

Re YLT being played...Mark's playing really isn't what it was so it does very much seem he's moving onto songs where the guitar isn't the lead anymore so that it's not so obvious that those nimble fingers have aged.
I might be wrong but my guess is that the Tracker tour was the last big one, his performances will become more low key and sporadic as he enters semi retirement. Not that I blame him of course, who doesn't want to retire!

I got in touch with them, and sadly they confirm the masterclass wasnt filmed, therefore wont be in his youtube channel.
