I am trying to access bleecker street website to buy some recordings for few weeks, but is out of service!!
Anyone knows what is happening?? I still need to finish download Privateering tour concerts...oh my god!
-
Just says it's "currently unavailable" and that "we'll be back soon" so I wouldn't worry too much. Try tomorrow.

This message is there for around 3 weeks!! :hmm

I can only see the recordings from the NA leg on MK.com. Was hoping to pick up some of the EU ones so hopefully they come back online!
-
Still OFF... And i cant even find them facebook page anymore... I am afraid the Get Lucky, Privateering and North America tour recordings could not be available anymore... They cant do it to us!!!
-
I downloaded some concerts after the Bleecker site went down directly from the markknopfler.com site, so I believe they are still available.
-
In 2005 a site called Pass along sold about 10 or more Shangri LA tour shows. The business closed and the concerts were no longer available.
Yes, they can do it to us again...
-
It is indeed very odd for a commercial enterprise to have its main (if not only) way of selling their goods, their website, down for quite some time.
And it would indeed be a trauma for us fans to experience the loss of MK concert downloads for the third time after passalong and simfy.
One could theorize if the offer of North American downloads on the mk website already pointed to a future end of collaboration with or end of business of Bleecker Street.
Just some concerned thoughts from me. Of course I hope they will continue for a long time.
PS: we already discussed some irritating points such as the sound quality of the European shows and the massive delay in availability of the NA shows. Both points for me lead to a self-inflicted considerable loss of sales.

I'm inclined to agree with you Surferboy. The sound quality wasn't as good as the Privateering tour where a guy mixed each one individually (was it Ulf or something), especially on the earlier ones. This was the good point about the company though - their customer service was good. People complained about the early shows and got it remixed. You didn't complain though and your show sounded like ****.
You also got some gummy bears if your stick was late in arriving! :hmm

The former CEO is now working for another company, so it looks like they are out of business.

So Haribo have one less customer then... :(

The former CEO left Simfy for Bleecker-Street, so let's follow his steps...
