Which song do you think is the best song in terms of performance and songwriting?
-
I would have said Basil, but as it wasn't performed, as in the question, I chose MM, because I love it on both the album and live. :)
-
Basil is the most memorable song for me. Should have been performed live with Ruth, but...
-
missing the b sides here.
chose LOT. the bob connection does it to me, and the fact that it is so melancholic.
but it is really difficult to only select one. this is in my top 2 of albums.(MK)

How do you mean "wasn't performed?" It's on the record, isn't it?
I'd probably go for Basil, although MM and Laughs come close.
I also agree it is a travesty it wasn't performed live, especially when Ruth was on hand. Instead he opted for the clichéd snoozefest Wherever I Go (which has an amusing acronym)! ;D

I meant that it wasn't performed live - I thought that was what the question asked, but I misunderstood! :)

Broken Bones is nice but way too long and monotonous in the end imho.
Laughs and Jokes is really cool.
