In my opinion, the best concert that ever existed in the histori of DS, its Wembley 10 July 1985.. simple..
Tell me what you think/ your favourite concert

And even better version of What's The Matter Baby! ;D

I like the Rockpalast concert very much because the early songs are so great.

From all the dates they did in a row... The 10th? Why? What makes it more special that the rest of nights?

It always makes me smile when I read that favourite Ds or MK concerts are the ones that got broadcast by TV or radio, very rarely those we have as audience...
So easy meat...

Emm....
I´ve already listened Wembley nights from 4th to 16th and i prefer the 10th
For the only reason that in that night was many versions that sound terrible, example, Sultans of swing, Tunnel of love, Solid Rock,
It´s a pity that we dont have the complete concert, but someday...
I liked very much too the night of the 15th July.. but i prefer the famous Wembley (10th July)

I far prefer Barbarella's 78 and Amsterdam 79 or Boston 79
of course these are audience recordings with less good sound than rockpalast
I agree with Jbaent : what are we talking about ? well known "bootlegs" with godd sound and sometimes bideo ? or the performances we prefer, musically wise ?

;D ;D ;D
if it's David on rhythm guitar, Mark will say to him that he doesn't play it right ! (like in 80) ;D ;D ;D

Strait to the Point - Dublin 1991. Sultans of Swing, I Think I Love You Too Much, Tunnel of Love... all insanely energetic and relaxed at the same time. And of course Rio 2001, but I never found its bootleg unfortunatelly.

For me the best was last concert of 1986 tour from Sydney.
Amazing So far away version.

Stockholm 85 and Uniondale 85 from the BiA tour.
Barbarella's 78 and Newcastle 80
Grenoble 92
All great concerts with great setlist.

Of all the Wembley '85 concerts we don't know how good the show on the 10th was because we only have part of the show. RAtR might have been a shocker. Who knows? I do know that concerts on the 8th and 16th I liked very much indeed and more than rival the 10th. Had they the same sound quality then who knows... It isn't even the best soundboard from the tour IMO; San Antonio and Houston are both better.
Impossible to choose just one show but I really enjoy Philadelphia 07.08.85. Great show and great sound. Boston 06.10.85 is another cracker.

It is difficult to understand why after such a big world tour Brothers In Arms tour we did not get the official live album. On The Night is too modest.

New York 1979
Boston 1980
Houston 1985
Dallas 1992 - VERY GOOD
