Title: Sort the MK solo records from the MOST I LIKE to the LESS I LIKE

These days I'm listening a mp3 cd with all MK solo records and I noticed that some had aged better than others and I like some of them more than other so maybe it's a good conversation to show everybody our list of the MK solo record I like the most in order, leaving to the last positions to the ones you like the less.

This is mine:

- Golden Heart, Shangri-La, Get Lucky, Privateering and Tracker: can’t really decide, these are all equal to me.
- The Ragpicker’s Dream: good album with three or four great tunes.






- Kill to Get Crimson: boring, repetitive, bland...

Tough one.

I went back and counted how many song I truely think are great per album. Only GH is a dislike. Too many bland songs and too many B-side level DS style songs.  In hindsight its good that this wasn't a DS album. It would have failed hugely I think. Also very interesting is that MK's songwriting seemed very poor on GH and OES (compared to his later albums and the early DS records)

It is not possible for me to put these albums in order, all I can do is say Golden Heart is my number 1, I am a bit dismayed to see Kill To Get Crimson not getting much love though, it contains some of my favourite MK songs:

True Love Will Never Fade
Heart Full of Holes
Secondary Waltz
Madame Geneva's
In the Sky
For me, Mark is such a great song writer, that to put them in order is a disservice, and they should all be viewed as the Mark Knopfler Song Book.

I have to say the album that surprised me the most was Tracker, I thought it was just ok at first, but after a couple of weeks of listens I was hooked, Great album
