According to this site, https://www.direstraitscomplete.com/single-post/2018/06/08/Eric-Clapton-And-Mark-Knopfler-Live, Wonderful Tonight on the 24 nights album is the version with MK during the Mandela concert.
Can anyone confirm ?

I think he says it is the same arrangement, not the performance.

The intro is the same but it plays slower and there is a long vocal solo performed by one of the back up singers plus a guitar solo. Not the same at all.

No

I remember how happy I was when I bought VHS from this concert in Chicago
-
It doesn't exists in dvd or Blu-ray, does it?
-
Probably not.

Laserdisc if I recall. I was once tempted by the format just as BD was being announced and searched available titles.

Is BIA only officially released on VHS or also on CD?
I remember this was also on CD but might be wrong.
Has anyone a good audio RIP from the Official version?
I am also very interested in the BIA version where EC Rythm Guitar is a bit louder in the mix
I recall different versions on TV. I do prefer the one with the louder EC Guitar.
can anyone Help here and PM me?

the version with EC louder in the mix is the "Solid rock" sliver pressed bootleg :

Mark's guitar is a little bit burried in this mix
I do prefer the TV mix, more balanced imho (the sax is barely audible though)
