Hot Dog was a bonus track on pretty physical CD's you could buy in the stores of Saturn and Media Markt, both together the biggest chain retailers by far on the German Market, by the way with together 900 stores in 15 countries. Hardly obscure.

My theory it that it's the "bonus track situation" getting out of hand. Maybe the song was intended for the limited edition to be released in Vatican City, but got cancelled and "remains unreleased" since then. It's brave new world!
