I note that there of plenty of AMITers attending the first UK date at Leeds including Mr & Mrs Knopflerfan...
Maybe Superval may know somewhere where we could all meet for a pre-concert drinkie??

I think there's a Wetherspoon just round the corner from the venue. They have no music so it would be a good place to chat. Val would know best though (not that I'm saying she frequents public houses often)! ;D

:lol There's a place called Town Hall Tavern which is convenient for the arena - I haven't been there myself, but it has a good reputation.

After a discussion on Wednesday in Edinburgh before we all went to the Musical, we decided to look for a venue to meet up and if fellow AMITers wanted food it was available.
How about this one that Superval mentioned 'The Hedley Verity' It is after all 5mins away from the 'First Direct Arena'

Good :) I'm here anywhere anytime. I said this tour I'm gonna meet ALL my friends as many times as possible. Even the chairman.
I have have good news today . My three bosses (boss, wife and myself) seem happy with the idea of me adding a UK show.
I may be heading down to Newcastle as well assuming there's a pre-show meeting full of beeeeeeers
