Hi, just read that Guy’s Mom passed away .on Guy's forum, he answered a question :
"Hi Rob and hi all. Some of you may have noticed I’ve been a little slow answering questions here. It’s because my lovely mum Barbara was very ill over the past few weeks and in the early hours of Sunday morning she peacefully passed away. I’ll get back to you soon."
My condolances to the family.
My she Rest In Peace , hard time for our dear friend.

Guy's mother's Funeral was yesterday, so that is why Guy hasn't understandably been on his forum for a while....

78 years is pretty good, but still too young if you ask me. The good die young, life is so unfair sometimes.

100% agree with you there, my mother was just 65 when she passed due to the onset of Motor Neurone Disease....

It doesn't seem pretty good when you're almost there yourself! :o

From Guy, posted on Christmas day - for those who haven't read it...
Many thanks….and my sincerest thank you to all who have offered their condolences and messages here. It has been a rough few weeks but I’m fortunate enough to be a part of a very loving family and one that is able to be together at this time.
May I wish everyone a VERY Happy New Year and here’s looking forward to a FABULOUS 2019!
Be good to each other.
