Hi all,
It seems a lot of us were lucky for RAH tickets, thank you Kevin for having our e-mail-adresses on the no-scalper list.
Now hoping we also get lucky and can enjoy the show together in the first rows :D
But even more important, the pre-concert meetings at our good old Stanhope Arms.
It could be the last time :'( because there is a chance MK will have his last tour this year. So I hope a lot of you will be able to attend.
Both nights we do pre-concert meeting at the Stanhope Arms, 97 Glouchester Road, Kensington, London
Only 10 minutes walk from the RAH. Let's start with a drink at 17.00/5pm :)

Oh yeah, I'll do my best to be there. Last time, in 2013, I met Dutchessy there!

Also, I was thinking in spent the morning of the second concert, doing one of the chapters of my book, visit the Deptford and Greenwich places. Last time I did was very nice to found some other MK fans around the Farrer House and the Cutty Sark, we didn't know each other so it was a total coincidence.
Just next to the Cutty Sark there is a great pub called "The Gypsy Moth" (does it rings a bell? LOL) wich is a great place to have a meal!
The route, in case you don´t have a book (in that case, follow the link in my signature) is New Cross Station (eastbound train) to Albany Theatre (first gig under DS name with Squeeze) then to Farrer House (where they lived and they played their first gig as Cafe Racers) with the Love over gold wall just in front and the train archways just next as well (from "One song at the time"), then walking to Wood Wharf (where they used to rehease since 1977 to 1985) and the Cutty Sark, next to the Gypsy Moth pub.
A great and very Knopfleresque route!

I recommend the Meliá Kensington Hotel, Reservation for that nights is only 142€ per night in 2 beds room if you register in his app (they give you 2000 points and with them you can get that price)
Very close to RAH. And a 4 star hotel.
Any appartment in the area is about 100€ per person.

Pre-concert meeting Stanhope Arms: maybe better to be there at 16.00?
Pick up starts at 18.00 (No need to be there that early) and show starts at 19.30.

19.30 will be the support act, or maybe doors opening.
I think 16.00 might be too early.

If you want to eat at the Stanhope and it will be busy with AMIT-ers I think 16.00-16.30 is a pretty good time.
Leaving around 18.30 to go to the RAH?

I'm from the Netherlands and coming to the RAH on the 22e. Tickets have to be picked up at the Venue (RAH). What time is that possible. I'm reading Box Office at 18.00?? Can someone help me?

Exactly what the mail says. From 18.00 at the box office.

Perhaps a silly question, just getting our stuff together for our flight to London tonight. We would like to join the pre-concert meeting.
As I don‘t know anybody the group, will ther be a sign leading to the Amit Table or something similar. I don‘t know the size of the pub, so it might be challenging to find anybody!

Just go to the table with the loudest laughs and the most noise... Plus at least one of them will wear a MK related shirt or anything, be assured. ;)
The Pub itself is not too big.

Being home again is so hard.
Really enjoyed meeting so many enthusiastic fans and putting a name behind this names on the forum. And it alwyas feels good to see that I am not the only one with this obsession!
I hope there will be others shows in the coming years!
