Is anybody else having difficulty accessing any of Guy’s website other than his homepage? I’m trying on my iPhone and it keeps coming up with a server error.

Hotel obviously didn't say anything when it was being booked?! Richard had the same issues...
-
management is really poor, we already know

I’ve just noticed this on Guy’s diary page. Look at the song titles at the top right.
I can’t believe he would leave that on display, or is he just teasing us?
Cheers, Pondy

So we know Trapper Man and Back on the dancefloor are in the pipeline.

Love it! Plus one of the Brass section plays the Cow Bell!!! :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol

Since the first show I don’t care about Trapper and BOTD anymore, I just hope he keeps playing this wonderful setlist and sincerely hope he doesn’t make weird changes like pulling OUATITW, HFOH or Silvertown from the set.
-
Guy is teasing us :) He should have faked more and just wrote the names of HUGE surprises to that display: TOL 20 min, Back in black etc.
-
I though that he might change Bacon Roll for Back on the dance floor from one show to other but by now, the set seems written on stone.
Bacon Roll is one of my favorite songs from the record but I don't like it in the concert, doesn't sound appropriate to me for a live show on an arena or a bullring...

Would you like to have Back on the dance floor as an opener?

Yes, I will leave Nobody does that as second, and throw away corned beef city.

I think BR sounds fantastic live, but of course I haven't been to the actual shows, so it might be different in situ.

Imagine an arena filled with 12.000 people clapping and singing "have you got my roll, my roll, my bacon roll"... Is the weirdest thing you would see such a crowd singing along with a rock band... I found it ridiculous and ashaming personally.

That's exactly what I'm looking forward to doing, jbaent! I've been singing it around the house, getting into the right frame of mind! ;D

I know, I know - it's absurd and surreal, but yet amazing. Like a Dalí painting.

And unbeleivable how OSAAT so far and probably forever will be left out to make room for this song :disbelief that ending solo in OSAAT would be nice to hear, but instead we will sing about bacon. What's next? Scrambled eggs? When you're dealing with your coffee what do you prefer? Black or milk?

The weirdest thing is not the actual words that they sing, but what the words signify, a backwards, old-fashioned attitude, or Mark's 'Brexit man'. It's like you are cheering on and celebrating that attitude. Unless you view it ironically. But I like the weirdness.

I rather clap and sing along "trapeeeer maaaaaan" or "back on the daaaance floooor" that "I'm waiting my damm order, when I will get it"
;D ;D ;D ;D :lol :lol :lol :lol

Comments based on live streaming or video can be sometime biased by the lack of atmosphere.
I was very glad to attend the opening night because being in the house gives you a unique feeling.
Impatiently waiting for my next show.

I see on one of the photos of the stage that there is something that looks like a teleprompter next to Mark's mic stand. Is that the first time he's used one?
-
Love the shot of Richard 'helping himself'!!!
-
I like the picture of Mark & Guy with Vicente and Chris, also Mark & Vicente. MK looks pretty good! :)
-
Nice effort from Guy again this year with tour diary. I like the way the first letters of each paragraph make up a word in Spanish. For Cordoba it was "duende". I wonder if he keeps doing it in other languages too as the tour progresses to other countries.
-
MK looks pretty good!
It is true:)

Yes! :lol
I have exactly the same pic of myself during the "fiestas" of my village (including the same brand of beer). The main difference is that i´m not a legendary session player

Fabulous, 'warm' photo isn't it...Yes MK looking very good .

It is up to you to decide.
Barsa is still ringing in my head and way better than any online video.
-
My Bacon Roll, which is one of my favorites in the record, sounded boring to me in all the three concerts. And because of that I won't ever search for a YouTube version of any concert of that song. It doesn't makes sense to me. I rather put the studio version.
By the way, Barsa doesn't exists. It's Barcelona, or Barna, that it's how their inhabitants called it.
Barça makes reference just to Football Club Barcelona.

Actually Barsa does exist.......In Lebanon!!!!! :lol

Must have been mentioned before but it seems that this year, they don’t rush towards the airport after the show but fly during daytime. At least good news for the late shows this tour... ;D

It depends... after the Valencia concert they went to the airport and slept that night in Madrid.

One week. And my two concerts this year.
I do not want to believe that the last...
