Title: Irish Reggae bootleg
Post by: shortfin on April 28, 2019, 03:01:33 PM
As far as we know, there are only 20 copies of this Japanese vinyl bootleg. The copies are numbered.
I have copy n. 13/20.

So, I'm just curious to know if someone else here has a copy, which number it is, and in which country is "located".

Status:
Phil_43, UK, copy 3/20
Frelon94 09/20
shortfin (myself), Italy, copy 13/20
andrea.tra, Italy, copy 20/20

I meant:
Who, in this forum, owns a copy? And where does he/she live?
Example: copy n.13, mine, Italy.

I wonder what is the point to press as little as 20 copies for a bootleg. Any opinion?

Phil_43, UK, copy 3/20
shortfin (myself), Italy, copy 13/20
andrea.tra, Italy, copy 20/20

According to discogs, Marc Vilaplana of dsboots.com has a copy, i guess 5/20, and Manel Izquierdo of direstraitscol.blogspot.com/ has one, I think 14/20

Someone else?

Hello everybody

I am new on this website/forum.

I live in France and I've been collecting collecting Dire straits/Mark Knopfler stuff since 1988.

I recently was lucky enough to get a copy of the Irish Reggae LP ; mine is numbered 9/20.

Yes, it is a rare record, anyway, but it will make more sense to have the complete Tokyo 83 concert on Vinyls. :think
If such a "wish" is not available in the moment, you should go and think in another direction, as i did in the past with a record-manufacturer in Germany.

Yes, i have it.  ;D. My source for the production of such a one of a kind-edition was a 2-CD-R Set with a very good sounding complete concert, and i own a "one of a kind-edition" on 4-lathe-cutted vinyls.  8)

- copy 14/20 is in Spain
- copy 18/20 is in France
- copy 20/20 is in Italy
