Does anyone know what the origins are of the dvd I've recently purchased?
Beaulieu incidentally is only but a short drive away for me...
-
Probably is the same dvd you can get for free from Laknopflertk unlimited... Recorded by fans.

These 2002 charity gigs were great shows. Highly enjoyable and a great time had by all.

A dvdr then... It's written in the surface

I prefer the Shepherd Bush concerts, but it's good too. MK had problems with his voice and was drinking something hot during the show.

He had Flu as I understand it, he was most likely drinking hot Lemsip or similar....

From all the MK concerts that I attended, if I had to choose one, it would probably that night in London in 2002. I've said it before but I will never forget that gig. What a band, what an energy and what a setlist!
Thanks Knopflerfan for the press article.

These nights were truly something special. I attended the first night in London and the atmosphere was terrific, especially as JI entered the stage during the opening notes of WOL. The whole band seemed to thrive from it and produced great performances every night. And let's not forget Jimmy Nail and his enthusiastic dancing and also two new songs thrown in and you have the makings of an historic night!

So we crossed path dmg, I was there that night too. Can't forget either when John entered the stage. It was a massive surprise. The whole night was magic. And those drums...
If they could release audio or video from these shows... :disbelief

We know that at least one out the four gigs was filmed and recorded.

Yes, the third night...

What was the story behind those concerts. Why did MK did those concerts?? For charity?

Yep, each concert was for a different charity. The first night was for Save the baby, second night was for Teenager cancer trust, third night for Leuka 2000 and the last night for Countryside Education trust.
