Title: Brothers in arms - Maret/Collin
Post by: vancip on August 17, 2020, 08:44:17 AM
Cover version of BiA with harmonica lead instrument . The album is Americana by Maret/Collin/Frisell. I've not found any Bill Frisell presence on the track but I was listening it during work through a Google mini speaker so maybe I missed something ..

You're right, Frisell doesn't play on that track. Shame, because it would be interesting to hear how he'd interpret BIA.

Listening to the rest of the album. Very quiet - and some might say boring - but it is beautiful. I'm a fan of Frisell's playing and a lot of his music, especially the more folk-oriented stuff.

Would love an instrumental album like that from Mark.
