Yes, quite great.
Guy and Gary are very good doing these interviews, as they are very good musicians, members of famous bands themselves, they know what to ask and how!
-
very good one, had expected even more juicy details, but still, very enjoyable.

It should be mentioned that in others interviews, Knopfler, the British Grove Studios, Deptford, The Albany, The Hope and Anchor or Pathway Studios are mentioned, very often and always Knopfler and/or DS related. Looks like both Gary Kemp and Guy Pratt are DS fans and they usually take any chance to mention any of those places and relate it to MK and DS!!!!

Very enjoyable! :)

As much as this is an amazing interview, I think musicians need to interview musicians, as much it's a bad interview because they're basically always talking about Mark and you're constantly wishing Mark would be there to talk about all the things they are talking about. It's like he's dead and they can't call him or make an interview with him or something. But since MK is looking forward only and doesn't want to do such interviews, John is doing the work for him, same with the book. Amazing!

Correct, but it’s still interesting to hear from the only person (except Ed I guess) who was there to witness it all.
John suggested getting Ed on and I hope they do, he will be a lot more candid.

Excellent interview with great questions. Lovely to hear John express his respect and fondness for Mark. Seems like a really good guy.

Excellent stuff....

I enjoyed this podcast, and thought it was all the more better for the lack of chat about Mark, after all they were interviewing John, not Mark, and the book is called My Life in Dire Straits, so, it is more focused on John.
