Hello to all die-hard and especially to all vinyl-collecting newbies.
This is my newest brainchild. I´ll introduce some special or rare Dire Straits and Mark Knopfler-Vinyl-records to all interests of vinyl-records. Yes i know, the die-hard- and lontime-fans all know that introduced records by myself, but what about the vinyl-newbies?. Just to give them an overview on the subject of rare and special DS and MK-Records. If someone else has also some rare vinyls, please feel free to join in.
FIRST Introduction of special and rare vinyls by myself:
TELEGRAPH ROAD, one-sided-12-inch record, released in France only as a promotional-pressing. Black-silver Vertigo-labels which are significant for french issues. The record features the full version of Tunnel of love, the cover is a specially designed promo-cover for that record. My copy is signed by Mark and John. Catalogue-number: 6863 201, Phonogram France, 1982, Matrix-number: stamped: 015 6863201 1 380 POLYGRAM.

I always liked the looks of this one.
Can say exactly, but there's something about it.
Hope to have it on my wall some day...

Get your timepiece out dmg and count the seconds! I don't remember it having something additional though. Maybe mastered a bit slower? Or probably wrong time on promo release?

Maybe it shows that CD's play at correct/recorded speed and we only notice it with the longer tracks. When the track is longer the accuracy of rpm begins to tell. :think
