Title: I received a painting of Mark Knopfler as a gift and I had to show it off

For my birthday this year I asked for something nice to put on my wall. Little did I know someone would go above and beyond and make a beautiful painting of one of my favourite guitarists of all time, Mark Knopfler.

It was finished a little after my actual birthday and it took me some time to come up with something to show off this amazing piece of art.

The painting is by Rachel Climo. In the video you'll find some facts about it the artwork itself. Hope you enjoy!

Congratulations on the painting, but do I detect an ever so small self plug?  ;D  (There's the Almost Straits sub forum for that, you know.)

Thank you! And I suppose you're right. I thought because it was a painting of the man himself it'd fit here, but yes there is a bit of a self plug element  :lol

I'll keep it in the Almost Straits sub from now on!
