Title: Unknown DTRW outtakes? ("Moving Up" & "Town")
Post by: SlowLearner on September 28, 2022, 09:40:20 PM
I don't know if I can post photos (and how), but, there's a list of 21 songs on Google images when you google Down The Road Wherever, among them which are no "Back In The Day" or "Precious Voice From Heaven", but there are songs "Moving Up" and "Town" on the list. This list was posted once even in the topic "New Album - Down The Road Wherever".
The list looks like this
1 One Song At A Time
2 Matchstick Man
3 Slow Learner
4 Back On The Dancefloor
5 Floating Away
6 Good On You Son
7 Nobody's Child
8 Just A Boy (this is how it's written on the list)
9 Moving Up
10 My Bacon Roll
11 Nobody Does That
12 Drover's Road
13 Trapper Man
14 Don't Suck Me In
15 Every Heart In The Room
16 Heavy Up
17 Pale Imitation
18 Rear View Mirror
19 Sky And Water
20 Town
21 When You Leave

The list was available, from my understanding, even before the album came out.
We've heard 19 songs, and we also eventually heard about Back In The Day and Precious Voice From Heaven, but it seems we won't hear about these any time soon.
Are they real songs?
Or less likely, alternate titles to maybe Back In The Day or Precious Voice From Heaven, which doesn't make much sense now?
Or songs that were supposed to be on the album, at least as bonus tracks, but got cut at the last moments? (You do remember I hope that for a brief while, the lyrics to Back In The Day were available on Mark's website, because I do..?)
Are they fake titles?

If they are real...
What would you expect them to sound like?
Could they be the candidates to end up on Mark's next album in 2023 ?

Share your thoughts..
