Hi folks. Just checking in from sunny Orlando Florida before heading off to Disney World. :)

I don't actually have Sky, but if the very worst came to the worst I could probably get my brother in law to record it for me then cart my DVD recorder round to his house to transfer, would be a hassle though. Hopefully schmonka can record it. :)

I wasn't aware of teh Biography channel being in HD, but I've been wrong before...

Great news though!

I have this on Sky Plus but don't know what to do with it from there! >:(

It was really v good, despite the fact that they cut out the questions but left in Mark's answers(!), and that the preshow bit wasn't included.

A couple of touching bits that I didn't spot on the night - one where Mark kisses his National after playing R@J on it, and the other where Danny applauds Mark's performance after a song - can't remember which one right now. Will have to watch again tonight. Managed to see myself in the audience 3 times! How fat can you get?

Well worth watching and if someone tells me what to do, I'll try to get it from Sky Plus on to DVD.

I watched it on discovery,I only have a basic dvd player so I couldnt record it on disc but I did on tape - as Arthur said it was a cut down version with no questions asked & you'd have to be at the venue to realise what a poor venue it was because looking at the tv the last night it could have been the RAH - ah,modern technology ::)
Yeah, that was interesting MK kissing the national after R & J which was something that I never spotted on the night :o
Arthur, youre now offically FAMOUS & you appear in a MK video - whats next Hollywood :o ;D ;D

Someone said in another thread how AMIT had gone a bit quiet in October, and I thought it was because of the glitch which put us off-line for 12 hours, and also slowed our page loading speeds for a few days after the black-out. NeroCaes got the dvd from Val yesterday, and he is working on it.   The raw DVD has no menu, and the broadcast is not the complete show, TLWNF and LH are missing.  Luckily, LH was audience filmed by our Spanish friend, but a pity no TLWNF.  In order to make an as perfect as possible DVD of this remarkable show, La KnopflerTK/SpanishCity is making a menu, and add those two missing songs(TLWNF will be in motion pictures probably, and HL will be in audience taping), and a signed ticket by MK will be scanned and used together with other pictures taken during the show to make the menu or the artwork.  Let's have more patience to wait.  In a few days, La KnopflerTK/ SpanishCity will certainly give us another masterpiece.   (In fact, I've been patientless for DAYS ;D ;D ;D ;D)

Thanks for helping us out.  But you are a downloader there, I'm afraid.  After opening the torrent you got, you'd better choose the location the same as where the actual files are kept in your computer.  Make sure you have 100% of the files included in the torrent.  Then you can seed.  Take your time to modify it.   :)   Good luck!

He is downloading now, see the leechers' list.   And from the file list, he is only included "MK Hurlingham 11-09-09.vob" in this torrent, and I think that's enough for watching on a computer.  And we can make a proper dvd with this file if we want to watch it on TV.

To be honest, I doubt this was actually filmed in HD. If it was I think it would have been broadcast in HD on the Biography channel, but it wasn't.

i am actually pretty sure, they used 2 50GB discs per camera, (saw them put it into their camera's) and i believe there were 4 camera's. makes for a pretty high grade vid i'd say

if you download, it costs a little money.   Not too much.  There are three qualities of download.   Because of my slow speed (even though it's supposed to be DSL) I couldn't get the good qualities.  Too many loading delays.
The concert is divided into ten tracks, with comments and conversation between tracks cut--maybe because of that drunk in the audience.

Well 1280 x 720 is HD so that would be great if it's trye. For only 2 euros I'll have a go at this. Don't particularly want individual files though. Ideal situation would be to get the HD files, then remux them into one HD capable file, like an MKV.

First I'd like to thank everyone who was involved in this project to make this recording available to the other fans. Thanks very much!
I downloaded it from knopflertk and want to watch it but it seems I can't burn it to DVD in the right way. I tried to burn the files on a DVD but the result doesn't play in my DVD player. I can watch it on my pc with Windows Mediaplayer (but this is not an option for me as I don't have sound on my pc) but when I try to burn a DVD with media files suited for a DVD player the program expresses the files are not correct for burning a DVD. Could somebody please give me some advice?

Sorry you are having problems mschaap. Have to say I burnt a DVD without any problem.

It doesn't always work, but many times in the past I have burnt video recordings as data DVDs rather than media file DVDs and most of them play OK on a DVD player.

Hope it works for you.

After I got a new computer in December last year the old hard drive of the old one had to  be put into the new one, but don't ask me why, it still didn't happen!!  :o I have no idea what to do and my sons or I have always many things to do and there is too little time for everything! I haven't visited Dime or the Spanish Tracker this year to download new information, although I often thought I should do it.  :o

I found today mails again in which Pottel explains to me what I have to do with the downloads and the qtorrents / bit torrents etc! This was all too hard for me to understand at that time and it is still hard!

Maybe you can have a look over here: http://www.fender.com/customshop/instruments/search.php?partno=1509900882
I think it is this guitar, or Mark has ordered himself a custom guitar on his specifications.
Perhaps we could ask Guy about it but i doubt he knows anyting about this guitar.

Yep that's true it is a custom shop fender strat. You can see at this picture the Custom Shop logo instead of his signature.
But it is a different Custom because this one has got 21 frets and the custom has got 22 frets.
And as far as I can see the fingerboard is differtent too.
And there is a string tree on the head of Mark his guitar.

You can`t replace a headstock if you want you`ll have to replace the whole neck.
I can`t imagine Mark will do that.
I think the guitar Mark was playing on the showcases is a new one.
On the Pic ustas posted you can clearly say some filthy things on the pickguard.

SE means serial, indeed the marked guitar isn`t a signature strat it has a maple fingeboard instead of rosewood so it isn`t the guitar that mark played at princess trust;)

Thanks for answer, I mean the same -  it is not guitar used at PT

By the way, we can see two Sig Strats with serial nbrs 00000 and 00001, so Guy's answer about unknown Strat is not correct.

By the way, where is the diary for Shangri-La tour?   I remember there's one more pic about the 00001 guitar.  If someone can call it back, then go to Stuttgart page, April 10th, 2005, and you can check 000 and 001 there.  http://www.guyfletcher.co.uk/images/2005pics/Germany/000-001.jpg    A pity I didn't save those pics on my HD.

It is Pensa MK80
The guitar was presented to Mark by Rudy Pensa in January 2004. The guitar's order number was 0188 but it was especially numbered 0001 and is the only MK80 with a triple zero serial number

THis is Guy his answer to the 2005 tour diary :

I'm pleased to hear you're looking..I will try and rebuild the site...It's all due to the recent issues I've had with the previous host server (UK2.net) etc. That's why the website was down for the best part of two days. They have been unceremoniously sacked and we've moved on.

It was a question from someone in october. I think we have to wait for a long time since Guy is very busy with his own 2010 diary right now.

Hi, guys! I want to say that I learned the trick of downloading content from iConcerts, but...
SORRY, You cannot see this show. You must connect from an authorized country.

So I can rip only 30 sec of SoS. Any suggestions?
I would do a 1280p/Lossless rip if I get access to the site.
