Title: New Interviews with Mark Knopfler about "Get Lucky"
Post by: SidBitS on October 05, 2009, 10:04:31 PM
There is an upcoming interview with Mark Knopfler about his brand spanking new album "Get Lucky" and his previous work with Dire Straits on a show that has featured exclusive one-on-one interviews with him before called "In the Studio with Redbeard".  Throughout this week of October 5th you can listen to the shows as they air live on the radio or you can wait until Monday to stream it from the site, www.inthestudio.net (http://www.inthestudio.net) find your radio station at the site too.

The previous interviews with Mark are dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Dire Straits' self titled album and are 20 minutes long. I look forward to hearing the "Get Lucky" interviews too.

Great interview, thanks for sharing! Some interesting statements indeed. And I like the part about Bob Dylan. MK is right: Alternating a song until it's not recognisable anymore just so you can say it doesn't sound the same doesn't necessarily mean people want to hear that.

And when MK is saying something like "I will play music as long as I can stand upright..." (which is an interesting variation of what he was saying earlier: I make music until I fall over...) gives me some hope for the future...  ;D
