What a bummer! Can anybody else confirm this? This would be another big mistake by.... Guy? What's wrong with the latest releases?

LE

Hmm. Can't say I noticed it while listening but I was reading a book at the time so not fully focussed on the music.

I decided not to buy the BD as I hear no difference in the BIA BD versions. Instrumental versions are surely nice to have but not worth the amount of money (for me). Also the clear vinyl is not enough feature to have it as I have the vinyl STP from the Box already and it's the same version. So I cannot check myself. I would really send it back if there would really such big mistake on it.

I don't want no sugar in it, thank you very much!

My version is missing “ Here’s one of the” lyrics beginning of the song

Maybe the bluray surfce is damaged and it jumped a few seconds when being read by the player?

I'd say the main selling point of these is the multichannel mixes. Some will claim to be able to hear the difference that hi-res offers, even though in BIA's case it was recorded on a system that didn't even have those frequencies in the first place.

The other thing with these is that they sell out quite quickly so even if you decided down the line you didn't want them anymore you can offload them pretty easily... for a profit as well, not that I'm condoning that.

I'm very curious about this longer version of Red Staggerwing:)

The original "longer" version of Red Staggerwing isn't 5:27 as the Discogs entry states, but 2:57. It a typo on Discogs, correct time (which is almost the same as that of the released version) is shown on the picture of the CD itself.

Me too.
I remember hearing this song in Warsaw on June 10, 2001, at Mark Knopfler's first concert in Poland. And my first thought: why don't I know this song? :)

So far so good, I'm loving the Atmos mix - such a 'warming' sound that really encapsulates you!
StP with James Taylor's very clear vocals is a particular fave along with 'The Last Laugh' which now takes on a new dynamic with the brass section being more profound than I've heard before - Vans vocals are so clean...

I concur! The sound is great, instrument separation is amazing! The instrumental mix set very nice to listen to! I'm very happy with it...

I didn't have any problem with the first verse of "one more matinee", it is there...

Only little trouble is some sound volume sudden drop and rise again in "Prairie Wedding", but that may be because of my Atmos sound bar... Anybody had something similar?

Only regret is that they should have included the B-sides, Camerado, etc... They were great for this album.

I would also have liked the documentary to be on the disc, like for the old DVD-A release.

And of course, a live concert from 2001! Missed opportunity...
