Yeah, saw that on Facebook and was tginking of you when I typed it. :)

The problem I have with these things is that the songs are all about different things and they have to write a terribly contrived story to fit it all together. I took my mum to see Mamma Mia and while I love the Abba songs I thought the story was just total bollocks. The whole theatre was up and screaming though, so what do I know.

aaaahhh sweet  ;D (I didn't think of you when I posted on FB.)

He is also writing a lot of very unoriginal story books too and making a healthy living out of it

I usualy don't like cover band that much either but seeing TAPFS* live was quite enjoyable, actualy their TGGITS rendition sounding even better than the one done by Floyd during the 80's and 90's.

* : acronym for The Australian Pink Floyd Show
tggits must be my least favorite floyd song, and i like all of them, normally. .... ;-)
any Knopfler, Floyd or Dylan will do....

I have read  quite a few of his novels and while some are very unoriginal and quite similar to one another, there are 2 that are really good IMHO: High Society and Chart Throb. The first one tells the story of a PM who is passing a bill trying to make all drugs legal and the second is Pop Idol and all those crappy "talent" shows from the inside. Hillarious.

(and another thread which changed course. Love it!)
