No Wonder He's Confused sounds promising for Golden Demos. Secondary Waltz is more rock than on KTGC.

No Wonder He's Confused is great.

My theory is that this track was recorded with Nick Lowe, Bobby Irwin and Paul Carrick, as per Record Collector interview, 1993.

Yes, that's the band playing also "secondary waltz" in that demos and also on "my claim to fame"

Batting for England - Heart of Oak as we know it now??

And how he used to thrill the crowd
The ready eye with bat and ball
The village fighter, heavy browed
The Englishman who had it all
A mighty shoulder to the wheel
To join in battle with the best
The iron arm, the will of steel
And heart of oak to mourn the rest

A power harnessed to the game
Once yoked and tempered fades away
The willing arm, the steady aim
The youth and fire that won the day
As twilight shadows dim the field
The ageing fighter stands bereft
With just the will to never yield
And heart of oak to mourn what’s left

Was The Speedway at Nazareth re-recorded as Speedway at Nazareth for the Sailing to Philadelphia album or was the only change, the title?
Knopfler, Oldfield and Gilmour is all the guitar I need.

Glenn Worf said recently in a YouTube interview that speedway TO Nazareth was the first song to record with MK and that was very different from the version they recorded for STP.

Interesting...

I guess it might be different as the "Secondary Waltz" demo from that same era is different from the one released in KTGC...

Begs the question when the 'demo' for SW was recorded? From what I've heard of it it's clearly from the early DS days

The one we have is from late 1993 or early 1994 I think, not really sure... It was mentioned in a magazine, that MK was recording with a british band and they recorded "My claim to fame" for the Swan Hunter documentary, with a band that had Paul Carrack, Nick Lowe, Bobby Irwin and some others:
