To find David Gilmour's *The CBS Promos* (1978) release, you might need to explore dedicated collector forums or Pink Floyd fan communities, as this promo is rare and typically circulated among enthusiasts. The links you've shared point to sites that might have had the content in the past, but if those links are dead, here are a few suggestions:

1. **Discogs**: Keep checking listings on Discogs for updates, as this platform often has new listings from sellers specializing in rare music memorabilia.

2. **Guitars101**: Occasionally, collectors on Guitars101 reshare links or provide new ones in the comments. Checking back periodically or posting your own inquiry could help.

3. **Fan Forums**: Pink Floyd-centric communities or music trading groups often have members who archive rare material and might be able to provide direction on where to locate the promos.

In the meantime, consider joining a Pink Floyd fan group or collector’s network where this type of material is traded among dedicated fans.  :)

Yes, but Sturgill is better than the pensioner. :)
I’ll let you know, I’ve got tickets to see him at Hammersmith Odeon (Alchemy). I love a bit of country. My favourite country artist Hayes Carll has a new album coming out with a band called The Heathens. The 2 songs Ive heard are great.
Hi Dusty
Went to the legendary Alchemy Hammersmith Odeon tonight to see Sturgill Simpson. Totally blown away, what a band. Thanks for the recommendation.

David Gilmour / Live at the Circus Maximus and The Luck and Strange Concerts - superdeluxeedition.com

David Gilmour will release a concert film and live album of his 2024 Luck and Strange tour,  on 17 October 2025, via Sony.

Live at the Circus Maximus is the concert film which runs for 142 minutes and is available either as a 2xblu-ray or 3xDVD set. The blu-rays features a Dolby Atmos soundtrack alongside 5.1 and 96/24 audio.

The live album is called The Luck and Strange Concerts and features audio recorded at selected shows from the tour and blends solo tracks from David’s most recent album as well as classic Pink Floyd anthems such as ‘Sorrow’, ‘High Hopes’, ‘Breathe (In The Air)’, ‘Time’, ‘Wish You Were Here’, and ‘Comfortably Numb’.

This is available as a 4LP vinyl box set, on 2CD. Note, that the audio for this live album is also available in the 2xblu-ray with Atmos, 5.1 and 96/24 stereo (just like the concert film). Both video formats also offer video of rehearsals, documentaries and promo videos.

Perhaps inevitably, there’s a massive super deluxe edition box set (direct-to-consumer only) which brings together ALL of the above formats and adds a 120-page book of photos by Polly Samson taken on the tour. This comes in a “custom made” box. Yours for £336!

Doing a parallel, David released, I believe, 5 solo albums instead of Mark that released 10 solo albums not counting his soundtracks + NHB.

2 of 5 DG's albums he barely performed live. His first one is much more a experiment, and the About Face album kind of filled a gap during the Pink Floyd's dispute by Roger/David.
David never played those material after 1985 (with only one exception)

Mark was/is a active musician that released, in average, an album/tour on every 2 years (I know, there are exceptions).

Post 2006 David's releases are way better than Mark's. Every album was followed by a live DVD ("On An Island" tour have 2 DVDs) plus easter eggs, interviews and a lot of interesting stuff.
However, note that the gap between DG's releases: 2006, 2015, 2024 (1978 and 1984 doesn't count). So, every tour was an EVENT. Every tour was a celebration and every "albun/tour" was prepared to have a LOT of material.

When Mark started his solo career, after a 4 years gap, he released a epk, VHS and a CD.
During the release of STP, there was a great documentary about MK (never released officially) + the album.

I cannot affirm if Ed was THE guy with an eye (aka inteligence) for it because, since PC start to manage him, only standard material was released.

What I am trying to tell is that, IF Mark had very few solo albums, maybe his released could be more "Gilmorized".

In my opinion, I prefer more albums than live records.
However, MK solo releases could be better.
