I have now listened to Guy's album many times.  At first I was a bit disappointed, but after the third spin I was hooked!  It is really a beautiful album, but I need to listen to it as a whole - each track seems to flow naturally into the next.  The band are wonderful and I love John's fiddle.   I haven't a favourite track at the moment, because I like them all.   I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!   :)

I ordered early, too. But, hey, we all know Guy is a kind of artist man and not so much organized I would presume... Remember all the little agreeable inaccuracies (don't want to offend him, but when he says "...starts next week" you can be sure it starts at least in three weeks, or all his announcements about Live downloads, web cams, and so on) Rollergirl, Mrs. President, please do not throw me into jail for this... ::)

But also we have to remember this: His working pensum in the last few weeks must have been really immense: I think Mark leaves a lot of work for him when it  comes to rehearsals and set lists, that's why he is the Musical Director, also he produced and mixed  NS and John Illsley's album, answering queries every day, revamping the site, doing artwork and stuff for his new album and ABOVE ALL, they do rehearsals, let's hope in a great and powerful way! So he is a really busy man and therefore I can get over not being handled in the exact incoming orders...

However, my Inamorata was Number 402 ;D, so I think my "Natural Selection" will at least be among the first hundred CD's...

Natural Selection No. 124 arrived yesterday! :D
Had a first listen. Some tracks are really good, but have only little time this weekend. Will give it a more detailed try tomorrow.

The Presidential copy (#3) has arrived.

"Falling tide" stands out at the moment, but I have only listened twice yet.
I like his singing much better than on Inamorata!
Trying to get to grips with the competition, there will be a lot of guessing!!!

Wow, Number 3!

Gratulations for that!

The question is now, who's got number 1 and 2? Maybe Mark and Guy's wife (or vice-versa.. :lol). In that (unlikely) case you would be in a very good company it seems??

I'd say 1) his mum 2) his wife (or vice-versa), 3) The President  ;D

Plus he did name the album after me Nat (ural Selection) what can I say? It pays to be President of a fan club that doesn't exist!  :lol  ;D

No, I haven't thought about it. What does a fan club do anyway, that isn't done by the man himself or this forum? I do like to call myself "The President" though!  ;D

So, how are you all doing with this? I had some spare time yesterday (home alone ALL day with a flu of some sort while my family was celebrating Midsummer) and had a real go at the competition. Glad that I nailed 2 that have been bugging me for some time (well, at least I think I did). Still 3 or 4 blanks though. I will have to resort to let luck decide for me.

If I win (which I won't), I'll sell the thing on e-bay and give money to charity (somebody mentioned that on GF forum, I thought it was a brilliant idea.)
