What a huge mistake by MK in the end of border Reiver!!!!!!!

But what a great way to end this song!  ;D Looks like a very relaxt Denver night then.

Ps. Hope to see a recording from Milwaukee soon, check Isaac's blog : http://gl.isaac.shabtay.com/2010/04/concert-day-riverside-theatre-milwaukee.html

I haven't listened to an entire show yet, so do tell: Does he still make that "Richard, it's you and me..." joke? If yes, I'm going to freak out!!!  >:(

Mark does need some new material for his band introductions. He also says, in a surprised tone of voice, that Matt Rollings is learning the accordion. All I can say is that Matt must be a slow learner as he has been playing accordion on stage since the 2005 tour.

Everything surrounding Knopfler is "slow-motion"  ;D

Nooooooooooooooooooooooo  ::)

Don't want my bike fixed by Guy, heard that, been there, done that, Done with Bonapartne and these jokes ....
I think I am going to videotape all shows in Amsterdam, and persist even when finger-of-death is pointing towards me ... maybe some other sentence will find his way to the audience. You see what I want to do for you all folks  ;)  ;D

What a wonderful idea.   ;)
I'm not talking about your bike.  ::)

Finger-of-death threat ? Remember, it's the get lucky tour.
Maybe we won't get lucky every time, but we should get lucky sometimes.  8)
They want to play games ? Even the best players don't always win.

ingrid,

Good for you !  Mark probably won't point his finger to the woman.  He's too much a gentleman to do that. I think.  Give it a try.  We'll be curious to know.

Yeah, the same jokes on all shows.

Well I remember he did point the finger of death at some woman at the Frankfurt concert in 2008... The poor woman had no clue what she was doing wrong. It was during STP when she was trying to take some pics with her cell phone which unfortunately had a really bright flashlight...
A friend of mine had a similar cell phone and I have to admit those lights are really disturbing. Nonetheless, the lady was pretty confused, apologised to MK and switched the phone off.

he is no stand up comedian, and as much as i am bored of the introductions, and jokes, it is as guy just said in reply to a question, the shows are not meant for "get-a-lifers" (that last one is my translation of what he said)
i mean, there are not too many who are funny and different every night, leo kottke comes to mind but again, only very few...come on folks, i want him to play brilliant guitar, not make funny jokes.
any Knopfler, Floyd or Dylan will do....
