Knopflerfan - Yes, they are very good recordings indeed, thanks to MK and crew and it is very special to have a copy of the concert you attended yourself - it makes it so much more personal, somehow!   :)

Oh yes, in Bournemouth, we were on the front row, just in front of the speaker stack and I remember feeling worried that we would have ringing ears by the end of the concert, but we needn't have worried at all, because the sound was beautiful, even in front of the speakers!  In fact the sound was perfect at all four of our concerts!   :)

It was a greqt first night of the tour for me, and i found it as enjoyable meeting new fans (knopflerfan, and i mean "new" to me) as well as older fans (superval, and by old...lol)
any Knopfler, Floyd or Dylan will do....

Pottel - Brighton was the first night of the tour for you, Bournemouth was the second night - remember?    ;)    BTW, it's lovely to be accepted by the rest of the younger fans, it keeps us feeling young!  Age is just a number! ;D   You would never guess that I'm 96 next birthday, would you?   :lol

Belfast and Dublin are not available yet, I wonder if the gave up about MK recordings, or they would upload that two remaining shows?

Would they need any mails from us asking to see there are people that want to purchase them? Maybe they consider its not worth...

What do you think?

I was at the Dublin concert and I would love to have a recording of such a wonderful gig, but I think these UK and Dublin concerts are so long ago now that perhaps they would not sell as well as the European concerts, when the tour was still on and people were buying USBs at the venue, or downloading when they got home.  There is not enough publicity now, unless there are fans, like us, who are on a forum and aware that some of the UK concerts are now available.

I feel very fortunate that I have three out of four of my concerts, but feel very sorry for the American and Canadian fans and those who only went to Dublin or Belfast.   Maybe they will turn up eventually, who knows!   :-\

I have now had a reply to my email and despite having said that I have purchased all of the UK concerts I have attended and also some of the European ones, the answer was that because I am a US citizen, I am not able to purchase these concerts at the moment.    :disbelief

Jbaent,  Thanks, but the point is I am not a US citizen, I am a UK citizen!  Anyway, I sent another email explaining that I am from the UK and I was then given a German email address to contact, http://www.simfylive.de/   I have now received an automated reply saying my request will be reviewed and that if the concert becomes available it will be handled solely by Music Networx   :)
