I was right in front of a box containing Jenson Button and Kelly Brook, who look like they quite like each other(!).

I'm confident I could tell the difference, even in the dark.

was it dark when you read this though? you didn't see the "they"

It seems there is a really nice diary entry over at Guy's website about the show. Really enjoyed reading it up to the point where he states that Eric Clapton is the greatest guitarist on the planet lol. He's wrong of course, Mark is! Claptons definitely pretty good though ;)

I can't wait to see the show on sky, it's being shown in December.

Vienna by Midge Ure, Mark King and Guy fletcher will be the highlight for me.

Hi all,

As Londoners my husband and I attended the show and the audience was packed with celebs. We met Jenson Button before the show, my husband knows him v well from F1.
The show itself was nice but the sound was not really that good. But maybe only where we were seated in Stalls?
Guy was easy to recognize due to his red shirt but he was just in the house band, so not much to hear from him really. EC was the highlight of the show IMHO. He played as being in a different league than everybody else! Just awesome! Like wine the older the better! Nice that Guy has the same impression and wrote it in his v nice diary.
Looking forward to see EC next year. Don't need to mention that I've got tickets for all of his nights at the RAH?

Take care,
Martina

I think it was only on Sky 3D last night. It is not on regular Sky until 31st December.

OK guys. I saw the Sky 2D broadcast of this a couple of days ago. Obviously it wasn't the whole show as most of the featured artists were only shown performing one or two songs, apart from Queen (well Brian May and Roger Taylor) who effectively played the final half hour of the broadcast.

Guy Fletcher could clearly be seen in the house band backing Alison Moyet ("Feelin' Good"), Phil Collins ("You Can't Hurry Love" and "My Girl"), Mike and the Mechanics ("Over My Shoulder") and Paloma Faith ("Smoke and Mirrors" and "New York").

Other performers featured were Status Quo ("Rockin' all Over the World"), Jools Holland with Tom Jones ("Burning Hell" and "Glory of Love") and Eric Clapton ("Queen of Spades" and "Crossroads"). As far as I could see these performances did not involve Guy.

During the Queen set, Guy featured on piano during "It's a Hard Life" (incredible vocal performance by Tom Chaplin of Keane) and was quite visible during the "We Will Rock You" finale.

If you are interested, the Queen segment of the concert, which also included "Days of Our Lives" (vocals Roger Taylor), "Lost Horizon" (Brian May  instrumental) and "Seven Seas of Rye" (vocals Midge Ure), is on YouTube

Wishing everyone a safe, successful and happy 2011.

Thanks FenderBender!
You can clearly see that Guy had so much fun on that night!

And I am sure Mark would have had so much fun also doing "We will rock you" at the Albert...  :lol

Any torrent site has the show to watch it? I doubt very VERY much that any spanish tv would buy the show to broadcast it, so a torrent of the show would be a good chance to enjoy that...

Tried to upload to the tracker last night but kept getting "Invalid Filename" error. :(

In that case, try to make the filename short and better not use " ' ".  Good luck!
