But what I heard in the youtube movie is that Mark just played some solo's and sent them over to Thomas.

Definitely 17 solos!     It must have been a bit like choosing from a very fine box of chocolates!    Mmm, which ones to choose?

Very astonishing. Who would have thought that MK is giving so much input into just another session recording? Can you all really imagine that MK recorded let's say, 15 to 20 different solos for his own material? I would think they go as efficient (if not lazy) as it gets and record one or two different versions at the most.

How great would it be to be able to listen to all that not-used stuff from songs like "So Far From The Clyde", "Hill Farmer's Blues" and so on...
