Actually, just listened and MK's voice is uber-rough.  :-\

Yes, it was a bit rough, like a cinder under a door, but I like it a lot!    :)

There's another one, pretty similar, "On Raglan Road" that I have on an album called "Sult - Spirit of the Music" which has a whole host of artists, including Van Morrison, Donal Lunny, Liam O'Flynn, Paul Brady, Brian Kennedy (brother of Bap) and many others.   :)

Here it is:

Oh, and this one! :D :D

Oh, I love "The Bridge" - It's available on a beautiful album by Liam O'Flynn called "The Piper's Call".  I love Liam O'Flynn's work.    :)

And a crowd of young boys they're fooling around in the corner
Drunk and dressed in their best brown baggies and their platform soles.

Actually I prefer MK's "On Raglan Road" over all the others floating around. That rough voice is just perfect for this poem.
And she's sitting in her Lusso, in the early morning sun.
