And the burning question of the evening: Why was Pottel watching Scream 4 when there was an MK/BD concert going on?  ;D

Also, at the risk of sounding stupid but someone please enlighten me what this "Bob center stage" remark is all about... Been wondering about this ever since the tour started  ???

By the way, I also like "Not Dark Yet", especially the line "It's not dark yet but it's getting there". As for the rest, I don't really understand what the fuss is about, but that's just me... I made a funny observation while listening through some Dylan stuff. I don't like most of his lyrics. I can't really say why, and I'm curious to find out soon, but... Most of them simply aren't appealing to me.

Its quite literal...

 ;D

Bob has two points at the stage, one is his keyboard, where he plays and sings some of the songs, and the other one is the center of the stage where he usually plays with his harmonica, or without, and looks like with a guitar in one or two songs in some concerts...

Ahh, thanks!  ;D Well, I'd prefer a remark like "Mark on guitar"  ;D

Sunday show in Lille provided me two great surprises.

A few month back I a report on TV showed that people buying tickets for that show were in majority primarily BD fans.

But the house yesterday evening was just incredible during Mark's set and I couldn't believe the roar at the the end of one song (Marbletown?). And I am pretty sure that tonight in Bercy it will be the same excitment.

The second surprise was the setlist.
These last days from my point of view thing were getting worse and worse.

So when I heard the first chord on the Danelectro, yes CBC was back in the game!
Good point
Then the predictale setlist, too much folk for my taste (Privateering-DWB-Marbletown, two out of thes three are over quota for me, I would keep Marbletown).
And then SAN is back also.

Considering all the songs played so far onthis tour this was nearly the best possible setlist I could dream (SL being dropped would be my dream but I fear that it will remains at least as long as WOL did).

The Dylan part.
Ear plug to compensate the loudness. Sound was less horrible than I expected.

I stayed until LARS included but I was getting enough of it after the first 30 minutes.
Not much to tell about that has already been said.

During the last encore I checked the arena : although people were already leaving, it was still nearly full.
The haters are those who write shit

Just remember that during Dylan concert, I spend the last 30 minutes looking at my watch and praying that was it...

I dont like the idea of leaving a concert, and I was there just waiting for the little chance of seeing MK at the encores with Dylan, so that 30 minutes were the longest of my life, but stayed there and recorded the whole thing anyway.
