The Alchemist was back in Hammersmith  and he turned bob's lead (guitar) into gold.

Love that sentence  :)
I couldn't resist.  ;)
Indeed it's the actual feeling that I've had.
Mark would have loved to stay for the entire set. So obvious.
In Rome Mark and Charlie Sexton gave up during Don't think twice. In Geneva also.
I guess it's pretty much what happened on most dates.
Staying behind Bob, some resignation. Nothing to do.

Different in London. Mark found the solution to follow Bob's guitar.
Each time Bob started a lick, Mark added his own to give him no chance.
Of course that was not enough to completely save the song -you know Bob is a good guitar player but not that good  ;) -  but I enjoyed it a lot.
I was amazed. Maybe the audio recordings won't show it. I can't say.

Thanks Tunnel85 for your review!   I'm glad you enjoyed the show and I'm looking forward to hearing "Don't Think Twice" without my toes curling!  ;D

Now a word about recordings...

Bob's part was quickly uploaded.
No MK so far  :'(

I have an audio recording, but my settings were not good. Too loud and saturated sound.
Listenable though but I think it's better to give  a good recording a chance to see the light first.
If nothing appears I will release.

Video ?
I didn't even try.  :disbelief
Too exposed while bad view, bad angle and people moving. Not for me.
I know my limits and it was definitely not doable from the seat I had.
I've seen the best, the average and the worst of venues during that tour.

Southbound again next tour. I also hope there will be decent french dates.    ???

Hi Tunnel!   I have just downloaded Bob's set from the first show.  I have listened to the four songs with MK (so far) and it sounds pretty good, even "Don't Think Twice" is OK-ish!    :)

great  ! ;D
I liked Bob's setlist.
Not as good as in Geneva but very interesting.
After Mark had left, Bob decided to play one boring song, one rocking, one boring, one rocking, one boring ....
That Bob is a funny guy. I miss him already.   8)
He will come back to Geneva in two years and if possible I will attend his show with pleasure.  :)
Until that I plan to go to the Geneva Arena a couple of times and give security some headaches.
No pressure (there won't be any interesting artist). Only the enjoyment of playing with security to check their limits.
Will first bring some hay for them as a Christmas gift.   ;D ;)
They deserve it.  >:(

And she's sitting in her Lusso, in the early morning sun.

I was at this show, standing about seven rows back from front of stage, I was also at the Bournemouth show but I think this one definately had the edge.
I'm a fan of both artists and enjoyed both sets. Strangely I didn't rate Dylan's shows that I went to on this tour as much as the one I saw in Finsbury Park at the end of June...and that's from someone who's not a big fan of over blown open air concerts. My mate and I agreed that we enjoyed Mark's performance at Hammersmith more than last year at the RAH. However, neither comes up to the 2008 show at the RAH.
Keep warm!

Thanks for the welcome, I look forward to being a contributor here! How do I add my name to the list of attendees?
