Hi Dan & Joko

Thanks for advancing my technical knowledge on the topic of media. Just proves the old saying correct. What you see in not always what you get!!

I will be posting the rules for vines today, but I think after more discussion, we could include something regarding the "original" disks for A.M.I.T. vines being copied onto Media from the selection of "1st class media" listed on the link that Dan provided. If everyone then follows the rule about copying and sending on the "originals", then our vines should have minimal disruption due to read/copy errors.

Just got from my holidays.  I'm so sorry to hear the problems you have had BBB :(  And so sorry to the rest of the vine waiting on this problem :(  There is a couple of things I can do, the choice is yours:

1.  Buy some new blank media (which I am going to have to do anyway so not to jeopardise any future vines).  Produce the discs 26-33 again and send on to BBB.  The only drawback will be the delay between me purchasing the discs and then re-burning (my drive only manages 4 speed).
2.  Send the copies of OUATITTV 26-33 that received from Henk and send them on to BBB.  All I ask is BBB sends the discs I burnt for him back to me.

In future I like the idea of sending the 'originals' on in each case.  My only question would be how does each recipient know the 'originals' have definitely been sent on?

Again, my apologises to everyone for the trouble this has caused.

Before I spend money on more media, do these look reputable? http://www.aprmedia.com/product.php?pid=2422
