Now that we have the news that MK and GF are back in the studio, I think Guy's diary deserves its own thread, so that the other thread can stick to discussing his forum.

So, I wonder what this album will be like? Will Matt Rollins and Richard Bennett be involved?

Is it really possible that this REALLY could be the start of another album SO early.
It would be interesting if Guy could elaborate on this news a little more.
Add some meat to the bones as they say.

Blimey, i only looked away from Guy's forum for a second, and obviously didn't read Dusty's post very well. It is indeed another album. Just Mark & Guy in the studio at the moment.

Can 2008 get any better.!!!!!!!!!

I think that the service that Guy provides us with is fantastic, and way,way beyond the call of duty. We should thank him and let him know how much his site and the time he puts into it is appreciated. I have certainly done this as an individual previously. Could I suggest that one of our Editors posts Guy a big TY from all at AMIT? Would also further advertise the AMIT site.

Right then. I want to know track names, track lengths, artists involved, album artwork, and what the set list is going to be when they tour with the new album.

To answer my own question, GF has now confirmed that "the band" will be joining in the recording session in a couple of weeks time.

This is quite a shock actually.  I was certain MK would want a nice rest after the tour.  He has had a busy few years recently.  For this reason I thought a live CD/DVD was more likely because it would require less energy.

I'm not complaining though  

I hope for something a little more 'lively' this time around.  Don't get me wrong KTGC is a great album, but it is very easy listening, melodic.  I need a bit of an energy kick

why not  a release in march??

GF says today that it WONT be finished by April 09, so I guess the normal schedule can be expected (Sept 09 release & promo, world tour 2010, maybe some sort of charity gig or Hay styel event summer 09).
