A new review
http://somethingelsereviews.com/2012/08/29/mark-knopfler-privateering-2012/

Mark Knopfler works with a loose theme here, that of living by your wits on the high seas, but the broader messages found on Privateering are sure to resonate with anyone who
They got a name for people like you, yeh they do
And they got a name for people like me too
El Macho, El Macho

There's a very good review in Guitar Magazine  4 /5.   It mentioned Miss You Blues and said that it was connected with Bob Dylan - something he had done in the past.   I didn't buy the magazine, just read the review - too expensive at

Another nice review 9/10 here:
http://www.bringthenoiseuk.com/201208/music/reviews/album-review-mark-knopfler-privateering

A very nice review.  I might buy another copy now!  I'm not sure even I would've been so kind but anyone reading that would surely consider a purchase.

Yesterday's Telegraph also gave it a very positive review and 4/5. I'm getting the impression that this album is getting a much more appreciative press generally than most of MK's solo work.
