Travelodge are in serious financial trouble.  Book at your peril!!!  Perhaps Premier Inn is better?  Lenny Henry seems to think so! ;D

They have two in Kensington charging

The Covent Garden Travelodge had just had a lot refurbishment and it was fine.   If you pay by credit card, you are pretty safe if they did go under.

I believe you will be charged on your creditcard immediately after booking, I don't think the creditcardcompanies will cover/insurance/pay back this costs when Travelodge go under???

Isn't it quite a walk from the RAH?  Not that I'm lazy or anything! ;)

There are other Travelodges - I believe Dusty has stayed at one closer to the RAH.  I'm sure he can tell you more.   You can catch a bus, of course, but that's more expense!  We travel free though!   ;D

Hopefully 1st 2 nights RAH.
I'm at work at the moment, so I'll frantically look at all possibilities when I get home.

But losing our money from pre-booking when travelodge goes down is not a real good option.
:( We have to be careful, because I don't think our creditcardcompanies will pay this in case of, Travelodge takes the money directly from the creditcard.

The Premier Inn is within walking distance though.  I've been there before too.
