Xcept for pick, or Jim Keltner, I never really paid any attention to drum players,....

I had personally been blown by Steve Jordan when drumming for Eric in 2006. I think I will never ever experience this again in my life for a drummer.

before plyaing with a drummer, I never really paid attention to drummers too

but when he made me listen to Police and Genesis (70 era), I started to like listen to drums parts.

Coppeland and Collins are great players.

As for DS/MK, my favs are Pick and Jbaent avatar, even if completely different.
I would say Pick for subtle studio recordings, Terry for live energy (aaahh Sultans and TR on alchemy :P :P :P :P)

Sorry Nico, but I've never found something special to Danny.
I agree that Chad was the man, and I like Ian's playing, but maybe is it more in the global band sound and style

Had that experience with Geoff Dugmore on drums one day. What a fantastic drummer he is. Saw Heather Nova the other day performing at a festival, didn't see the drummer yet, but could hear it was Geoff (and I was right)! ;D

I agree with you NicoMK about Danny - and Matt too - he also had a dialogue with MK, especially STP and R&J.   I hope they will return to the band one day soon!   :)
