This can be an example of what they will play during the Dylan tour...

I guess that tomorrow they will change some of the songs.

Song for Sonny Liston is a blues number of sorts. But why??? He's got a brand new album chock full of better blues songs, even a new one about Sonny L., and he chooses the old one. It's not THAT great! I really don't understand Mark's logic at times.

Short set?

I guess that 12 songs set will do the 70' slot they have to play before Bob...

I suppose Speedway just didn't suit a tiny intimate gig.  Save that for the tour.

Major disappointment about OES not being there. :'(  Again, maybe better for the big arenas. :-\

Why did you think OES would/could be there?

Because of Richard Bennett playing Pedal Steel Guitar.

The picture of Richard at his pedal steel led to a discussion this may be played due to Marks desire to reprise this song a few years ago.

Dissapointed because some of the rockers, like "I used to could" or "Got to have something" are not there but "Redbud" and "Miss you blues" are...  :(

I'm sure the venue size and intimacy of the gig had something to do with the set.  Songs like WII and Sonny Liston are just stand ins for such occasions because the band can play them in their sleep by now, so I wouldn't necessarily expect them on the tour.

6 from the new album, and only 1 DS song out of 12. Is this also a record of sorts?

First show of the 2011 Tour with Dylan had 0 DS songs and two new UNRELEASED tracks.

Thats the record.
