I can't believe I was seriously thinking of going there.  :disbelief
If you survive to MK's setlist and to Krusty's guitar, the temperature kills you.

I'm positively impressed by all the reviews so far, depicting a great opening act.
I remember a few articles from European self-called journalists that didn't even mention MK's part or couldn't do better than a brief scornful and arrogant sentence.

Music journalists are used to support acts that are relatively unknown, up-and-maybe-coming, or part of the stable of artists managed by the main act's management. In consequence, they tend to concentrate on the headline act, without really considering the support act. Sometimes, I don't think they even go in to the venue to see the support act. I suspect it is a habit they find hard to break and they just get blas

Thanks for the links . It's good to read positive reviews about our hero.  I've never seen Bob. Hope I can recognize some of the songs.

You can live in hope, sweet surrender, but even long-time Dylan fans sometimes take a while to recognise his songs, partly because he changes his set list a lot, partly because he doesn't always enunciate his lyrics clearly, partly becuase he sometimes throws in an unexpected song (such as the Gordon Lighfoot song in Edmonton) and partly because he changes his arrangements. Indeed, some of the arrangements have changed quite a bit since MK and BD last toured together, roughly a year ago, and now Dylan has a baby grand piano, which he didn't have last year.  Some people who have attended or heard some of the recent shows say there is more of an "acoustic" feel to some of his current performances. We will see.

I guess that's partly why he has such great followers.  I never for the life of me give much listening ears to BD. But man oh man, I might have missed out on some really good music. This morning, I decided to do just that listening to BD while driving kids to school.  Wow, I'm in awed.  Where have I been all these years?  Some seriously great songs.  Great music and wonderful lyrics.

Gonna go check out "tempest" .   Mark is still #1

Glad you liked what you heard of ol' Bob, sweet surrender. If you care to PM me, I'd happily point you here and there amongst his vast catalogue. Maybe to onr or two other Dylan-related things, too. No pressure; it's entirely up to you.

And still making MK your #1 presents no problem to me.
