Just tried to match some of my favs with newer tunes... If he is in a good mood this gig, could also fit Skateaway somewhere in the middle...

Yon two crows
What it is
Single handed sailor
Redbud tree
Sultans of swing
Monteleone
Dream of the drowned serenader
Telegraph road
Everybody pays
Tunnel of love
A place where we used to live
Radio city serenade
Money for Nothing

In the sky
Brothers in arms
Love over gold, mind over matter

Well..with the catalogue MK can provide us with this is perhaps the hardest question to be asked..and my answers would probably change on a daily basis.. will try to keep the "ideal" setlist a bit realistic as well as I could list songs we all know for sure we will never hear again live..guess which one in particular  :P So todays setlist goes:

1. Darling Pretty
2. What it is
3. Yon two crows
4. Romeo & Juliet
5. How long
6. Sultans of swing
7. Dream of the drowned submariner
8. Devil baby
9. A night in summer long ago
10. Telegraph road
Encore:
11. Money for nothing

Nice to see " How Long " at your list, one of many fantastic songs from the last DS record  :thumbsup  :thumbsup
" and it's your face I'm looking for on every street "

It's only eleven songs so you'd have to do without SFA, I'm afraid.  For that we would be forever thankful! ;)

1. Redbud Tree
2. Privateering
3. Yon Two Crows
4. Silvertown Blues
5. Romeo & Juliet
6. Sultans Of Swing
7. The Man's Too Strong
8. Iron Hand
9. Marbletown
10. On Every Street
11. Speedway At Nazareth

So slow and nice build up, 2 superb powerfull songs, 2 golden oldies, great rare oldies, Marbletown because of the atmosphere, another great old one, and Speedway for a powerful end!

Also made a 'standard' setlist after 7 shows!
My own MK-setlist-administration tells me this:

1. What It Is
2. Corned Beef City / Cleaning My Gun
3. Privateering
4. Yon Two Crows (/ Sailing To Philadelphia)
5. Redbud Tree
6. I Used To Could
7. Song For Sonny Liston
8. Daddy's Gone To Knoxville/ Done With Boneparte
9. Hill Farmers' Blues (/ I'm The Fool?)
10. Haul Away
11. Marbletown
Encore: nothing or So Far Away
Miss you Blues at number 8 or 9

Guy confirmed that I'm The Fool was not played. In the meantime, I am pretty sure that the attendand who reported that obviously was not too much into MK's music and maybe just heard the line "you made a fool of me" in Hill Farmer's... did not check though if Hill Farmer was on his list, too, together with what he meant was I'm The Fool...

Maybe I will change all the encores with only "I used to could" but played long and loud like Gravy train in 96  ;D

Totally agree..it is kind of a forgotten gem..and I think with the present line-up and the way MK has evolved over the years this could be a perfect "jam-tune" and a way to show off for the other bandmembers as well..like they do in Marbletown..just think of all the magnificent instrumental pieces from How Long!  :)
