Actually: the first one moaning that Danny wasn't in anymore was me I think.

Now this tour has almost ended I have a little more nuance:
On some songs I prefer Danny, on some songs it's equal.
Ian uses the cimbals a little too much to my taste (subjective, matter of taste)
No one can beat Danny on Speedway.

I do like it when musicians play on stage. If you are that talented that you can play music in the most excellent way and play around a little during the performance, then you are really good! Besides that, I think that being relaxed on stage adds a lot to music. Maybe some more mistakes, but the feel of the performance is better.

Conclusion: yes I miss Danny, but I can live well with Ian.

Hi guys - post about MK's drummer. Had to add an answer.

Nick, when Danny comes back , you re launch KTGA ? ?  :think
I know your feeling about Danny and I respect that.

About the pictures, I mean , Mark In total concentration playing with feeling and soul........than you may wanna pick another moment to shuffle ,a drum stick in your nose, maybe during his introduction, you have the most eyes on you ,
and to give the others band members a laughter when Mark is in his music and playing is a bit disrespectful .

Off course I love to see some fooling around .........but again , there are other moments to do so !

On Ianto's defense I also like to point to this moments during R&J in Lucca,
where he sings along with the lyrics , and seems to be sucked into the song.
Bravo Ianto  :clap

when we only point to funny/strange moment the weight will be too much on that only imho

see e.g:

They San to be a happy bunch, a million miles away from all the stories about the OES tour, so we should be happy for that.

ian thomas seems to be a really nice chap and a funny guy. what's funny to me now is the fact the he fucked up postcards from paraguay twice in a few weeks. not that mistakes can not happen, but sometimes that's just how life works...
fan of mark since 85.
