Children in Need Charity Auction
« on: November 03, 2008, 10:40:41 AM »
Here in the UK there is a big telethon charity thing every November called "Children in Need".

The host is Terry Wogan, presenter of the most listened to radio show in Britain (possibly the world?). As part of Children in Need, he always hosts a charity auction for things that "money can't buy", for example last year one of the prizes was teh chance to go and meet Led Zeppelin while they were rehearsing for their comeback gig.

On his show this morning he announced that one of the lots this year will be a guitar masterclass from MK. So get your wallets out! If previous years are anything to go by this will probably go for about

ummm, I'll have to check with the bank.

Wouldn't it be great though? I recently picked up the guitar (I mean that yesterday, I picked up my husband's Martin and started practising scales), put I need a proper lesson.

Better start playing the lottery...

That is what I do too! I play once in a month the "Staatsloterij" where you can win millions. It is the only possibility to get some extra money!  ;D

Imagine a masterclass from Mark!  :P ..........Do you think Mark and I will be the only people in the classroom?  :o.....Hhhhhm I am not sure IF I could move my fingers on the right places then!  ;D

If you are good to other people, most of them are good to you too!

Wow yes - as Dusty says it may be a record amount for a guitar sale. Proves that MK is still so highly regarded.
