This is not the first time he does a sort of very mini European tour. And Eric is not in a great physical shape as he suffers from back injury and had to cancel 2 shows this year.
Me too is frustrated to have missed him but maybe he will tour next year.

MK also had a back injury in 2010, but managed to carry on with the tour!    Clapton's music is too boring for me these days - his last few albums have been pretty dismal and I have stopped buying them now.   MK is running rings around EC regarding albums at the moment!   ;)

Decades ago: Clapton is God.

Nowadays: Clapton is just good.

I trust you but I'd like to check by myself.   ;)
About mini tour and injuries, I understand but there's no excuse : even the good years Latin Europe is really not his priority...  :thumbsdown

In 2001 Eric announced that it was his last major tour and that he would step down afterwards.

Since he's still touring quite a lot but seem to give priority for some territories being mainly US UK Germany and beloved Japan.

ROW is when he's available to do. A bit like for the South American Mk fans (well it is even worst for them but Eric still tours there from time to time)...

France has not been treated too badly with concert given in 2004 - 2006 (unofficial opening of the 2006/2007 world tour) and 2010.

After expenses, I'm sure they came out ahead not by much.  MK always keeps ticket prices way too low to be immensely profitable. (good for us fans!)  Do you think all the musicians in MK's band get paid equally ?

Perhaps Guy gets paid a little more for his title as "Musical Director" (and author ;)).
