I found this article about Dire Straits and the reasons why or why not they arte still not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame...

He would probably feel honored to be inducted but otherwise I think he does not care that much not being in.

And in theory they are invited to perform, could you imagine Mark and John sharing the stage with David, Pick (or Terry) and Alan again?
