Recording new album in September
« on: August 07, 2013, 02:20:12 PM »
Nigel Hitchcock, has told me in facebook, that Mark has called him in September for the recording of a new album. So we can expect a new album in September 2014.

They expect to have a very tight schedule.

A new album and hopefully the 2015 tour dates ...

13 months to wait, 70 audio recordings to help ( roughly that's 1 recording every 6 days)  :D ,  let's hope videos will see the light sooner or later.  :think

Sounds good :clap

According to Nigel his Facebook it is a recording from Nigel himself : "I'm very pleased to say that I shall be recording the remainder of my 'HITCHGNOSIS' album at Mark Knopfler's incredible studio, British Grove in the middle of September with 30 of the finest musicians around. I Can't wait!! Hope to have it released by Xmas. Hurrah!"

So no new MK album  :'(

"I could play my accordion And charm all of the women And dance round the taproom With a chair in my teeth"

I understand the missunderstanding because Nigel said this to Alberto in a comment in facebook:

I would have loved to have done the Spanish part Alberto Fern

It would be too good to be true.
