The article states that he will play four shows on the West Coast.. Seems like this is a mini-promo as assumed :)

I will be waiting anxiously tomorrow by my computers.  The announcement sort of turned my day upside down.  I"m soooooo excited of course, I couldn't focus on things I need to do today.   ;)

Only four dates?   Only four?    The mk site made it sound as if there would be more.   The posts above make it sound as if there will be only those four.

As of Tuesday afternoon, 13 August, all presale tickets are sold out.   The notice from mk.com came only yesterday.   It was impossible for me to get to a computer until this afternoon      Oh well.       I got better tickets from Ticketmaster in Sacramento last year anyway.   

Who is going to a west coast show?

tickets were all sold out in about 10 minutes I think.  It was a stressful morning with glitches in their system.  People ended up with more tickets than they asked for,  no tickets at all or partial.  Site went down for maintenance and such.  Credit card couldn't be processed, etc. It's good you were not part of this frustrations. 

It looks like I have to go to ticketmaster for 2 extra tickets for Oakland.   :)

 :smack  The site just cannot get it right!   I understand the tickets selling out fast.   That usually happens, but buying them gets tougher every tour.
