Does that mean you'll record, Martina?      :-*

I don't understand why Guy said that, was'nt it in his diary that we got to know about Mark playing with Joe in the first place?
Knopfler, Oldfield and Gilmour is all the guitar I need.

ok gus and gals
here is the first feedback
all in all it was an amazingly good and funny show, but i had one major dissapointment, when we arrived at the box office, the lady behind the counter was very friendy and talkative, and told us mark would be in the houseband,..imagine our surprise and joy...
it turned out he would play three songs only, like all guests (2 or 3 songs)
the show was, as mentioned before, amazing, funny, and some great guitar was being played, then, some time around 21h50 mark came on and played three great songs...
the setlist(which i was able to recover from the scene,...thank you unknown roadie man!!)
1.Stay Young
2. Leave that liar alone
3. Shine
4.Killin' the Blues
5.Well Well Well
6.Shannon
7. The Three Bells (acepella, and real good!)
8. Long Gone
9. (U2) Still Haven't Find Found (what i am looking for) great country version..
10. Couple More Years (gues: Dennis Locorriere)
11. Cover of the Rolling Stone (see gues above)
12. Darktown Strutters Ball (Gues: Dave Edmunds the man can play guitar!)
13. Girls Talk (Dave Edmunds)
14. Ain't No Pleasing You (Chaz and Dave)
15. London Girls (Chaz and Dave)

Interval
second set (and second setlist,..lol)
16. Gods' gonna Cut Them Down
17. Malt and Marley Blues
18. That's the Way it Goes
19. Darlin' Corrie (guest: forgot who tat man was,..some bloke from a guitar band from the eighties,..one hit wonders, believe they played  some song called,. money for naught)
20. Donegan's Gone (no surprise here aye?)
21. Picture of You (MK)
22. Black Betty (great version)
23.Souvenir D'alvito
24. Sea of Heartbreak
25. Hava Nagila (lol, awesome...)
26. Valentine Moon (Guests: Jools Holland and Sam Brown)
27. Together Again (Jools and Sam)
28.Great Balls Of Fire (Jools Holland)
29. That's Allright Mama (Pete Brown - Son of..-)
30. I Knew the Bride (Guest: Dave Edmunds)
31. The House is Rockin
32. Dreams
end...
no grand finale with all guests sadly enough, but despite those little, MK related pains, a great show, and i am sure it will sound great on CD.
will upload the actual setlist soon...
talk to zou laters...
p.s . seen no other famous guests in the audience.. but that don't mean nothing
any Knopfler, Floyd or Dylan will do....

Cheers Pottell. Dave Edmunds is great. And Terry Williams and Geraint Watkins work with him.

Sounds like a great show. Thanks Pottel for your early post. How long was the show? - most of the tracks were shorter (3-4 mins on their origional CD's), but with 32 tracks it still must have been close to a 3 hour show?
