The crowd would surely have went crazy at the mention of Long Beach in the lyrics of Speedway but I will never cease to be amazed by some of Mark's decisions these days!  Opportunity missed.

On a positive note, KOG was played.

Thanks for the set list btw. :thumbsup

    • My book about Dire Straits and Mark Knopfler
With so little days to rehearse, it was clear that the set would be the same, and it makes sense, as it a extension of the P tour.
You might get lucky, now and then

No openingact, show started around 20.15, about 15 minutes later than scheduled

He said something about it during the show. And did one line with Long Beach in it. Then said I am not going to do that song, and something like I am already here so don't have to drive. You Will hear it on the stick, he was very talkative last night.

Jim comes from Long Beach, he also said something about that, so Jim got a huge applause.

Must have been a great show according to the videos and indeed MK was very talkative...
