So now we have two bands trading on the DS name or has Alan's band gone south?

Here's more videos from Milano show. You'll should check 'Solid Rock' because Danny was on vocals there!

Wow - Danny singing!  He's not too shabby either.

I think it's great to see guys like Jack, Pick, Danny and Phil on stage together.  Jack always had a real presence on stage with his dancing around, distinctive playing style and dress sense!  If only they were with...  Not going there!

I just watched Sultans

it's really tragic

I just watched Walk of life and I found it also tragic, so I didn't watch other songs

a shame that Pick is involved in this

I must admit that I don't really care about Jack,Phil, Danny or Mel...but Pick....oh no, the great Pick in this mascarade... :smack

I always found that Jack's attitude was a bit too much. It doesn't fit to MK/DS style IMHO
you know the way he plays laying on the ground in sydney on Solid rock, topless, big glasses at live aid, etc...
and musically.....well, apart maybe for TYL and PI, and some wah on RATR, I think he ruined most of songs...that kind of 80ies-hard-rock-fm style.......beuurkk :disbelief
Hal wasn't a great guitarist, but I think he was more "discrete", and I think it suits more Mark's style. That's why Richard is still in the band...

Same here. I just went until the middle of WoL. They're not bad musicians, it's exactly the other way round, but they simply don't fit together. There is no alchemy in it...

The eighties were strange times... The music was alright, mainly, but the attitude was soooo colorfully macho, made of plastic, too far teen. Trouble is that all got worse afterwards

I thought it was good fun,  not pompous and self important like Alan's rival outfit.

I am not defending Alan, but I liked the Straits' version of communique posted on YT some months ago

I disagree with their attitude, but at least, I find that musically the Straits brought more than the legends

well I admit I didn't listen many of their songs, but their communique version was really cool, keeping the spirit, or at least the syle-groove-sound of original DS, IMHO

the legends give more the impression of a BIA/OES era revival I think, but it's maybe due to the presence of Sonni and Palmer....not my cupa in term of guitarists during DS history

I have doubts about the 'not pompous'

The Legends sold 170 euros tickets for a meet and greet after the concert (120 more than the normal ticket)

That's not pompous, that's just making money.  Pompous is implying that you wouldn't let John Illsley into your tribute band because he wasn't a good enough musician.
